Caminos de Música Festival

The Caminos de Música Festival, held every July in the city of Ponferrada (León), has become one of the most unique cultural events in northwestern Spain. More than a simple concert series, this festival is an invitation to discover the richness of the musical, historical, and landscape heritage of the Bierzo region.

With emblematic venues such as the Castle of the Templars or the Teatro Municipal Bergidum, Caminos de Música transforms the historic center of Ponferrada into a meeting space between tradition and modernity. Each edition presents a carefully curated selection of artists who explore root music from a contemporary perspective, mixing genres, cultures, and narratives. 🕒 Schedules

• The inaugural concert was held on Tuesday, July 8 at 20:30 at the Teatro Municipal Bergidum.
• The following concerts at the Old Castle of the Templars started at 21:00 on Wednesday 9, Thursday 10, and Friday 11 July.
• In previous editions, it is indicated that “tickets are sold at the box office one hour before the start of the concert” for certain concerts at the Castle.
• Recommendation: It is advised to arrive at least 30–60 minutes before the concert starts to secure a good seat (especially outdoors), have time to collect tickets or access the venue, and allow margin for any possible issues or venue suggestions.

♿ Accessibility: Yes. The Tourism Office offers assistance in several languages and is accessible for people with reduced mobility. It is also part of the El Bierzo Dog Friendly initiative, allowing pets.
